Super Party Tips 4-How Much Space Do I Need To Set Up!

Hi this is Ted Peterson, Connecticut's Favorite Family Magician! As promised I have a new party tips video for you. Super Party Tips 4 is finally here!

Lately I've been getting a bunch of phone calls and emails asking about the space requirements of setting up and performing my show!

So with that in mind I took my camera to a real magic show I performed in Burlington CT and shot a live video of my set up, showing the perfect area to have my magic program.

Now not every show is going to have the same space which is ok because I'm extremely flexible. I'm just showing you the ideal space.

Ohhh and at the end there is a really magical appearance of my Dove Ciniamon! I hope you enjoy!

2009 Halloween Contest! Who Wants to Win a Free Magic Show!

Its time for our annual Halloween Contest! This year were doing the contest a little different! There will be two types of entries instead of one. The first is best Halloween costume! The new category is best Halloween lawn display! The winner in each category will win a free platinum magic program (value $327) and I will also donate a free magic program for your favorite charitable organization!

Here's How It Works!

To enter, you must be a follower of this blog or a subscriber to our newsletter. You can sign up for our newsletter by filling in the form to the right! Take a picture of your best Halloween costume (can be you, friend, family member, family group shot or someone you saw at a Halloween Party) and email the photo to: ted@bestpartymagic.com Do the same for your favorite lawn display! The winners will be announced on Mon. Nov. 2nd!

Back from North Carolina

Some of you maybe wondering what happened to Connecticut's favorite magician over the last week. Wasn't there supposed to be another Super Fun Parties video? Weren't you going to share some Halloween Show pictures? I thought you were going to teach the kids another magic trick?

Yes I was. I just got a little side-tracked over the last week.

You see, yesterday I made it back home from a visit with my brother and his family in North Carolina! I had a great visit with him and his kids, Jake & Morgan. The weather was beautiful but a little cold at night. Not like the snow we are getting here in Connecticut though.

I was able to spend some real quality time with my brother, Trevor. He is doing much better now after being injured in Afghanistan 5 months ago. He is up and around now and able to take his new dog for walks around the neighborhood. We spent some time talking, had taco soup for dinner and took a trip to the bookstore.

Morgan is really into scary movies so we watched a few horror movies I took with me. She also showed me how to check my email with my cell phone! Jake likes chess and has one of the biggest sets I've ever played with! It is huge! Jake is getting really good and even beat me once! We had alot of fun!

Now that I'm back I can get back on track. There will be another Super Fun Parties Video coming really soon. The next one will be on When and How to send the invitations! It will be filled with tips to make your next party Magic!

I'm also going to be posting that magic trick video soon! Its a neat torn and restored newspaper routine anyone can learn in few minutes! The kids will love it!
