Great Party Planning Tip #3 Where to Have the Party!

While there's nothing wrong with having the party at your home, I've seen much lower stress levels when the party is held at a separate location.

Here are some other places you might want to consider for your party. Churches. Fire Halls. Country Clubs. Community Rec Centers. Daycares and Schools.

If an out-of-home party is not possible for you, try to keep the kids to central area such as a large downstairs Family room or a finished basement. This will help you keep an eye on little ones and keep things running smoothly at your party.

Your own children can be a handful...what happens when you have twenty 5-year-olds to contend with? It can be enough to fray anyones nerves if you're not prepared. I've seen many Mom's and Dad's try "to go it alone" for the party. But think about it. There are so many other things to worry about: decorations, food, games, cake and everything else! By getting some trusted, reliable help, not only will you have a more stress-free party but you will actually get to watch and participate in the activities and enjoy your child's special day! 1. Don't forget the Invitations!

This is one of the problems I see with planning a great party. The parents

forget to mail the invitations early enough.

Send the invitations as soon as you can. 3-4 weeks prior to the party is

the perfect time-as this will give the other parents time to plan around your party,

and with RSVP's, will let you know how much food you will need and so forth.

Don't forget to mention that there will be a fun and exciting magic show and any other

activities that you may have planned as well. This will help create excitement and boost

attendance at your event.

Quick Up-Date

First off, we had a great Easter! Those of you I talked with seemed to have a good one too...If I didn't get a hold of you personally I apologize...Part of the reason for this update...I hope everyone had a great Easter! Second.
